Sun Tzu: The Art of War

Today, I received a long sought after book, The Art of War from good ol' Amazon

The book is also known as Sun Zi Bing Fa or 孙子兵法 in Chinese. If you don't know what it is, I'll explain it to you. It is a famous military treatise written in the 6th century by a famous Chinese general called Sun Tzu or Sun Zi. It has 13 chapters devoted on explaining the "art" of conducting warfare. It is highly concise and remarkable in Chinese, though somewhat lacking in lustre when translated in English.

While it is hard to grasp, if you able to apply it to situations in your life, you'll find it very interesting. I have. So, this book hopefully will keep me entertained for some time to come. I recommend it to everyone. There is also another book called "Mastering the Art of War" by a number of ancient statesmen/generals geniuses such as the famous Zhuge Liang (诸葛亮). All these books can be purchased on Amazon quite easily with a very reasonable degree of value.

Until another day.
