Who created the universe?

Well, my fellow blogging associates, long time no see. It's been a while but my exams has ended and finally got some free time :)

Did I tell you all? My birthday was on the 18th, I am 20 now... How sad lol... I won't bored everyone with useless information about my progress since the exams, nothing exciting happening - Though I am doing management at my food preparation facility lol, I get to wear a blue shirt and eat free food lol....

Getting down to business, this morning I was reading the news on my mobile and I read an article quoting some astronomer as saying that looking through a telescope is alike going back in time, that is, you are looking at things light years away... I was thinking, but isn't light years a measure for distance not time? Weird...

Then I got thinking again, universe, who created universe? This is one of the biggest mysteries in our world and perhaps something we'll never be able to figure out. Then I got thinking again, which came first, the chicken or the egg? Well, this is a simple one isn't it? There's a greater chance the egg came first due to genetic mutation which caused the creation of the chicken...

But then going back to the creation of the universe, just how can it be "created"? It can't can it? It can't just be there either or can it? The more I think, the bigger my headache is getting so I decided to share this wonderful headache with you all - again since all of you possibly have encountered this question before...

So have a think and answer the following questions, let's see the brainstorming capabilities of you all!

1) What or who created the universe?

2) If it was not created, how did it come into existence?

3) Was it just there and if so, why?

P.S. Good to see everyone is so active with all your blog posts! AND an early merry xmas!

Hi, Shan! Your b-day was on 18th??? HAPPY BELATED b-dayyyy!!! So now you're in your twenties, eh? *wink* Then I'm younger than you HA HA HA HA...Just kidding he he he...

Ahahhhh...those questions!!! I believe that God created the universe.

Hey Shan,

First of all: belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Welcome to the box of 20 lol :).

Second: Thank God your exams finished, I am sure you've passed :)! Congrats on your management job :).

I love answering questions like the ones you have presented us, this week. Let me see what I can come up with:

1) What or who created the universe?
I strongly believe that God create the Universe and everything else that is.
Yes, scientist can come up with n,x,y,u explanations but I also have the same question for them: and who created n,x,y,u? No matter what they say, I will always ask Who was the genesis of everything (even a tiny little cell).
As you can see, I am a fan of Creationism lol.

2) If it was not created, how did it come into existence?
I have answered that it was created, so I am exempt from this question....

3) Was it just there and if so, why?
This is a very good question for scientists and skeptics lol. Whatever is comes from the I AM; it's as simple as that, no matter how many turn people make.

Shan, mate; I don't celebrate Xmas, but thank you anyway :)!

I wish you happy festivities :)!

P.S: do you know already what thesis you'll write?

Happy B'day, Mate!

Ah, the questions: I tend to side with Thomas Aquinas who borrows from Newton's laws of motion. Anything in motion has to be set by another thing in motion. At some point there must be an unmoved mover. That is the Creator.

What came first, chicken or the egg? That depends on what chicken you are talking about, no?

Glad that exams are over!

Happy belated b'day to you, Shan!! :)

I'm quite busy at the moment, but, my answer will be: GOD.

Okay, it's time to enjoy now!! ;)

I am sorry that I have no idea about the first question whilst I don't believe it was any god created the universe or even any god exists. It is an irresponsible way to say god or gods. Have any one seen god or gods before? I have not, so god is only a kind of religious symbols to me and the gods are probably not the thing as followers used to image and believe. I couldn't tell anything about god or the creater of universe coz I only believe what I have seen, and it is also pointless to me to know about the origin of the universe.

You know, some people age normally, but some people age backwards. I do and I'm beginning to suspect you're another.

I was an old kid who never really got on with kids and a teenager who worried about everything. I never felt more ancient than between 19 and 25. Now I seem to laugh more, take things less seriously and enjoy life more every year... early senile dementia?? ;-)

Hope you keep feeling younger growing older too! :-)

Thanks for the great comments on my blog: I absolutely loved them (I even adored your tease on Hillary Clinton - my answer was "I don't support candidates according their gender nor tear-shedding!") LOL!
